About Our Church

Rebuilders Community Church is in Baltimore, Maryland. We are believers centered in grace, devoted to making disciples, and building a community of faith.

Rebuilding the City

Our desire is to build a community of believers desiring to encounter God through worship, yielded prayer, and obedience to God’s word.

We invite you to come and grow with us and together make a positive and lasting impact on Baltimore.

Vision:

Rebuilding Broken Hearts and
Lives One Life at a Time.

Mission:

We exist to build up.

Our Values

Authentic Christianity

Rebuilders operates under the New Testament model for the church. Jesus is the focus of our ministry and the reason for all that we do. We are committed to preaching and ministering the radical grace of God. Our worship is centered on the Lord with the goal of moving the congregation’s focus from themselves to God alone.

We seek members who will be dedicated to serving God, loving one another, and demonstrating the inner change in us through the power of the Holy Spirit at work in us. (Acts 4:32)

As a Church we are committed to prayer (Acts 1:14, 2:42, 4:31, 6:4). We will invite Holy Spirit to use us to demonstrate God’s power and lead other to encounter the Lord for themselves.

Community

Rebuilders embraces the community where its planted. We are inclusive and engaging. All will be welcome to join the community of believers at Rebuilders and work to reach out to expand that community of faith. We believe in the priesthood of every believer (1 Peter 2:5,9) As such, opportunities to network and minister to the community is our hallmark. We will strive to make Rebuilders a valued resource in the community where we are planted. (James 1:27)

Community Outreach

Rebuilders is about reaching out and serving our community in practical ways. We will continuously grow in this area and identify key areas where we can serve the people in Baltimore in practical ways. Inviting the lost to hear and embrace the salvation through Jesus will be the focal point of all outreach activities. (Luke 22:25-27)

Diversity & Inclusion

Rebuilders celebrates diversity. God has created each of us and we are all a reflection of His image regardless of our race, color, national origin, culture, or gender (Gen 1:27). At Rebuilders we are all equal in His sight (Gal 3:28). We want Rebuilders to reflect the Kingdom in all its dimensions.

Rebuilders celebrates inclusion. We believe that God sets the members every one of them in the body as it pleases Him (1 Cor. 12:18). Transcending tolerance and secular pressures, our goal is purposeful transformation through discipleship to look more like Christ. We will embrace those whom God sets in Rebuilders who are committed to the transforming power of God’s Holy Spirit to conform us to the image of Christ Jesus. Our goal is unity, peace, genuine community and to embrace people of God with differing gifts, talents, and backgrounds for the advancing of the Kingdom.

Giving

Rebuilders’ members are generous. The discipline of tithing and giving offerings is a core value and part of Rebuilders culture. Rebuilders will teach and promote giving as the doorway of blessing and the pathway to financial security.
Giving to world missions to reach the lost and extend our reach beyond our community is paramount. Rebuilders will commit 10% of all income to world missions.

Discipleship

Learning foundational and progressively advanced applications of the Bible, cultivating the disciplines of Jesus, and operating in ministry gifts is what ministry at Rebuilders is all about. Rebuilders will be a lab for learning and growing in the things of God so that we can demonstrate the power of authentic Christianity to win the lost (John 14:12).

What We Believe

Rebuilders Community Church believes and declares their Faith as adopted by the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) and set forth below.

We believe the whole Bible to be completely and equally inspired and that is the written Word of God. We further affirm the ministry of women as equal servants in the body of Christ.

That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor;

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.

We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Bible.

We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all the necessary for forgiveness of sins.

We believe that justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

We believe in sanctification after the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost;

We believe in holiness to be God’s standard of living for His people.

We believe in the baptism with the Holy Ghost after a clean heart.

We believe in speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

We believe in water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

We believe in divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.

We believe in the Lord’s Supper and washing of the saint’s feet.

We believe in the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth for a thousand years.

We believe in the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteousness, and eternal punishment for the wicked.

"All the Ways God Loves You":
Devotions on God's Love from the Bible.

With all the advancements and innovations, we face on a daily basis it becomes easier to disconnect from God.  Our focus shifts towards daily concerns and issues with the power to overwhelm and to blind our vision.  Life as they say gets in the way, or we get in our way while experiencing a true struggle or an uphill battle alone.  But why should we struggle?  And why alone?

All the Ways God Loves You moves our attention to the Lord Jesus Christ who embraced us and gave his life for us so that we could relish everlasting life and companionship with him.  This book delivers a daily message and offers us an opportunity to ponder further.  The devotions assist us with every part of our life and fill up our hearts and souls with abundant love.

Moreover, All the Ways God Loves You empowers us with the confidence of God’s love in the form of an invitation to rejoice in the oasis of his love.  Similarly, it is an open invitation to see the sacrifice, the grace, and the eternal plan to reach each of us through his perfect love.  If you ever felt insignificant and unloved, All the Ways God Loves You reveals that God sees you, He knows you, and He loves you.

In 31 days, LaJuana D. Caldwell, Th.M., takes you on a voyage with scriptures and commentary designed to:

• Connect you with God’s love.
• Support you with Bible verses to meditate on until they become part of you.
• Reflect on your own thoughts by journaling.
• Empower you with confidence through declarations affirming that you are deeply loved.
